My name is Floris Pamphile. I was born in Boston, Massachusetts, but at the age of one I went to live with my grandparents in Liberia, a nation located in the western part of Africa. I lived there until the age of 5, when we fled the civil war and came to the United States. I consider myself a war survivor because so many lives were lost and I saw so many horrific things during the war. I feel blessed to have survived such atrocities. Today, I am a mother, a wife and a Salem State University graduate with a bachelor’s degree in criminal justice. I have over 10 years’ experience in the human service/social service industry and have worked with homeless individuals, families, ex offenders, and substance abusers.
Life has not been easy for me. I have endured so many adversities, but thanks to the Almighty God I have been able to conquer them and put my enemies to shame. I see only great things in store for my life. The favor of God is upon my life, and I am stepping into my destiny each day. God is restoring everything that the enemy has tried to steal from me. He is fighting my battles and I am grateful for all his blessings. I created this blog to encourage and inspire people to never lose hope in life and to always strive to be a better you!
