Have you been feeling really tired lately more than usual? Are the dark circles under your eyes just not going away? Is your hair thinning out or too brittle? If so you may be experiencing some sort of vitamin deficiency.
These days we are all always on the go and most of the times, that means not really having time to eat a balanced diet. We get vitamins from the foods we eat, because we are not eating a diet that is balanced this may put us at risk for vitamin deficiencies.
So what are vitamin deficiencies anyway? Well, it’s when your body does not have a healthy amount of a certain vitamin or vitamins which can have some serious effects on the body.
Sometimes these deficiencies can be very visible, for example some people have chronic dark circles under eyes this may not just be due to them being tired; it could be due to a vitamin K deficiency.
What Vitamins Should I be Taking?
A multivitamin is recommended, it’s a bit frustrating trying to find the right one because there are so many brands and they come in so many forms. There are your chewable vitamins, which much be chewed these are great because they are easier for your body to absorb and do not have to really be broken down by your digestive juices. There are also gummy vitamins which aren’t too bad but as far as absorption is concerned I have to say they are not too bad either. Next form, are your liquid vitamins, you can get the highest absorption from these. Also,there are your vitamins in the pill form that must be swallowed and are like horse pills most of the times. Lastly, on the extreme side are your IV Vitamin infusions, which are administered intravenously and go directly into the bloodstream.
What Vitamins Do I Take?
I personally prefer liquid vitamins because you don’t have to chew anything, and I can’t do the horse pill sized multivitamins because I have a phobia of swallowing large pills and I think I am not alone when I say that. The multivitamin I take is the vitamin you see in the featured picture. The vitamin is called “Source Of Gold Liquid Vitamin.” This vitamin is amazing it literally has all the vitamins and minerals you need and it tastes pretty good. When I take this vitamin I literally feel alert and wired and ready to face the day. You can purchase this vitamin at Amazon, Vitamin Shoppe, or GNC.
I also take liquid collagen with vitamin C it’s called Collagen C and the brand I use is called NeoCell. Collagen is a really great vitamin for the skin because it helps to keep you skin tight, and keep the wrinkles away which is great. I decided to take collagen to tighten up my skin during my weight loss journey and to keep the wrinkles away, seriously who wants wrinkles. I purchase this vitamin at Vitamin Shoppe.
I highly recommend it.
Another brand of liquid vitamins that I have tried are Wellesse liquid vitamins. They make have a liquid multivitamin and other vitamins in liquid forms. Their liquid vitamin taste amazing it’s the best tasting iron liquid vitamin I feel like. Wellesse vitamins are not too sweet they are just right…you will love them and the price is pretty good too.
